Letter From the Former Editor

Monday, January 25th, 2010

To all of you at Manhattanville, I wish you a happy new year and a happy new semester. I am writing this as a final farewell to my days as Editor-in-Chief as I am now a Manhattanville Alum. As you will notice, the new Editor-in-Chief is Monique Hardy. I entrust this paper and your following to her for she is someone that I am sure is most capable to perserve and run this paper. So please look to her for continuing Right World View’s rich tradition.

There are some happy changes that Right World View is pleased to present with our brand new and improved website. It is up and running with constant updates. Feel free to go on Mville.RightWorldView.com and comment as you wish!

It has been a pleasure to serve this paper for the past three years as both a writer and then, an Editor-in-Chief. I am most proud of my work and those that I have worked with. It has been the best experience in my years at Manhattanville and I am confident that the tradition and committment to an open exchange of ideas will be something that will live on with Right World View. I am sure that Right World View will strive to be the very best that it can while maintaing it’s integrity and it’s quality. I know that Monique Hardy will do a great job of continuing this paper’s tradition and making it even better than I did!
Right World View has remained strong and vigilant despite the many attempts to subdue our voices by both administration and organizations on campus. Right World View will continue to fight for the right to express the opinions of those who are willing participants. Having the right to express our opinions was so important that our founding fathers put it in the Constitution as our first amendment. It is that right that Right World View observes and continues to protect.

So as I say my final farewells, I entreat you all to continue your support for Right World View by simply just picking up an issue. Remember that as always, Right World View is here to serve you and is happy to have your voices expressed as well. So if you want to join or have any questions,
contact Monique Hardy directly at Mville@RightWorldView.com. So good luck to you all on a brand new year and a brand new semester! Also, remember to check out the new website at Mville.RightWorldView.com!!! Farewell, Manhattanville!

To Arms, To Arms: Your Mission: Make a Brand New Start

Monday, January 25th, 2010

Whether it’s trying to start over with a brand new leaf in school, life, or anything else, there is no time like the present to try. If there are goals are not yet met that you wish to meet, this is the right time to start. It’s a brand new semester and a brand new year. You can make the most of 2010 by inspiring yourself to change. You can become the change that you want to be. This is a philosophy that was inspired by Ghandi. Why not listen to the wise worlds of the old and do just that?

You can start over by setting goals for yourself and striving for something better. You can make list of what you want to accomplish and make plans on how you wish to achieve those goals. Once again, there is never a better time than right now and right here to get things started. It’s never too late to try something new or reinvent something old. LIfe’s all about chances and opportunities, after all!
